Looks fab in real life, high quality & impressed with attention to detail I was pleasantly surprised with this journal, it’s absolutely beautiful with hand finished real scrap booking elements included. A lot of effort has gone into making this journal authentic to the movie and it pays off as it looks and feels amazing & of the highest quality, the stock Image does not do it justice at all. First it’s a large journal, bigger than I thought, the cover is a faux leather which looks and feels great, the wording on the cover is embroidered and looks beautiful, the best part is that I had no idea the journal used real scrap booking for authenticity, the globe on the cover and the images inside are not printed onto the book, they are separate and have been cut out and taped into position with subtle white tape, the photo of Ellie and Carl at the back of the journal looks as real as can be and it is secured in place by scrap book photo frame corner holders and tape, obviously it has to be handled with care as the scrap book images can be pulled off or ripped. I just wasn’t expecting it to have such a high level of attention to detail & it really makes the difference with a good quality item, I don’t know but I assume it would have been done by hand and I did not pick up any of this from the item info before I purchased, which I only did as a stocking filler for my adventurous ‘Up’ fan daughter who’s had a hard time lately. I don’t mind the price tag now, and it’s way better than the likes of the castle collection journals.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Anonymous from Absolutely outstanding! I couldn't wait to receive this journal! It arrived in its own cardboard packaging within a large box with some other disney items i bought. It's just beautiful and the detail is incredible! The front cover is a leather feel material with embroidered lettering and a cute little map emblem which is made to look as if its been stuck on with sticky tape. As you open the next few pages you really get the sense that this is a very true replica to the actual scrapbook from the UP film! My plan is to use this as a treasured photo book with family photos using the same scrapbooking method such as photo corners and sticky tape and have it displayed along with the fabulous little UP potted plant. I love this so much that I plan on getting another journal for my 11 year old daughter.

It's a lovely book, very high quality and well presented. I love the little bits taped on so it has a real feel of a home made book with the gorgeous lovely feeling from the characters of Up!
